大福帳で紙を使った作品を作りはじめてから、紙の表現を追求した。これらのブローチは美しい風合いのある、丈夫な麻紙を使っている。服につけると、いろいろな角度から見ると、さまざまな表情が生まれる。金魚すくいという名前は、フォルムが金魚すくいに用いる道具「ぽい」に似ていることから名付けた。
I started to pursue the expression of paper when I started making works using paper of DAIFUKUCHO. These brooches are using strong hemp paper with a beautiful texture. Wearing clothes and looking from different angles creates different expressions. The name ‘goldfish scoop’ was named because the form is similar to the tool ‘poi’ using for goldfish scoop.
